via Gymnastike:

USA-Japan women’s friendly dual meet, Hoffman Estates, Ill., Feb. 20:
Bridgette Caquatto of Naperville, Ill./Naperville Gymnastics Club
Mackenzie Caquatto of Naperville, Ill./Naperville Gymnastics Club
Kamerin Moore of West Bloomfield, Mich./Twistars USA
Hallie Mossett of Los Angeles, Calif./All Olympia

World Cup, Montreal, Que., Canada, March 6-9:
Mattie Larson of Los Angeles, Calif./All Olympia
Samantha Shapiro of Los Angeles, Calif./All Olympia
Danell Leyva of Miami, Fla./Universal Gymnastics
Tim McNeill of Falls Church, Va./University of California – Berkeley

International Gymnix, Montreal, Que., Canada, March 6-9:
Hallie Mossett of Los Angeles, Calif./All Olympia
Sabrina Vega of Carmel, N.Y./Dynamic Gymnastics
Jordyn Wieber of DeWitt, Mich./Twistars USA

A lot has been written casting Wieber (with sidekick Moore) as the U.S.’s next big thing, while Larson and Shapiro are well regarded as elegant, complete-package gymnasts. The Caquatto sisters are also impressive (Mackenzie, who made the Olympic Trials last year, has a particularly nice DTY. Younger sis Bridgette is taller and leaner and has slightly less refined gymnastics, but there’s potential there.)

Hallie Mossett is a powerful up and comer and seems confident on all events. And Sabrina Vega, coached in part by 1976 Romanian Olympian Teadora Ungureanu, is a stylish young gymnast with interesting skill selection and choreography.

I wonder if that was a misprint: World Cup in Montreal.. same weekend as Gymnix..? Makes no sense. I live in Montreal and have only heard of Gymnix being held here. I know it was printed by USA gymnastics but I think it may be an erro.

Unless they have made a new event as part of Gymnix for Seniors?
