Remember Feng Jing?
The 16-year-old who surprised everybody by winning the 2001 World all-around championship? After being left off the 2008 Olympic team, Feng, now all of 24, has come back to capture the Chinese National Championship.
Feng, the 2001 world’s all-round winner who represents Guangdong Province, collected 90.300 points from six apparatuses at the national championships, which also serves as preliminaries for October’s National Games to be held in Shandong Province.
Guo Weiyang from Yunnan Province was second on 89.700 points and Sichuan’s Feng Zhe finished third with 89.350.
