The University of Alabama seems to have won this year’s recruitment lottery.
In addition to current National team member Geralen Stack-Eaton and Parkettes teammate Julie Cotter, Sarah Patterson and company announced today that Ashley Priess will be a part of the team next fall.
Priess’ sister Courtney competed for Alabama in 2005 and 2006 but is not on the roster this year. Both trained with Mary Lee Tracy at Cincinnatti Gymnastics Academy in Ohio.
Alabama must be getting hungry. They walked into the 2006 NCAA Championship pretty much guarenteed second place and blew it. Then in 2007 they lost to Utah again.
